Mr. Shabir Ali Murtaza is an ICT professional with deep knowledge and expertise in ICT operational frameworks development, operational processes assessment, reengineering, digitization, data analytics and producing AI algorithms. He has a vast experience of 16+ years working for Amadeus, Du PJSC UAE, Etisalat UAE, Huawei Technologies UAE & Oman, and Ooredoo Oman.
During his tenure with the aforementioned organizations, he worked on different operational roles and developed frameworks (including Risk Management, Quality, Audit/CSI, Process Management) , followed by supporting operational processes and digitization on self-initiative BPMN platform (called Digital Dynamics platform- DDP) resulting in uplifting the operational sigma level and efficiency.
Currently, he is employed with Ooredoo Oman (Qtel Group Operator in Oman) focusing on ICT governance standardization support and digitization.
He completed his Bachelor in Information technology in 2003 and acquired multiple industry certifications in industry standards and is an active member of many standards bodies.
As EVP Mobile Cloud, Paul leads Digitalk’s cloud-based ‘MVNE as a Service’ business unit, supporting MNOs, MVNAs and MVNOs. Paul has an extensive background in the telecoms industry, working with both operators and vendors in a range of executive roles to deliver innovative and successful communications products and services.
Daniel is a co-founder of Preiskel & Co and has over 20 years’ experience working in the telecoms, media and technology sectors, advising across the globe. He has been ranked for over 15 years in major independent research guides as one of the world’s leading communications lawyers.
He is particularly recognised for commercial and regulatory work in the UK and overseas. He also advises various clients (including a major Korean handset manufacturer) on international investments and acquisitions as well as on major privatisations. Recent work includes advising a group of mobile operators and content providers in reversing a decision of a European telecoms regulator. He has recently been advising Japanese and Middle Eastern mobile network operators on MVNOs as well as advising a range of MVNOs & MVNAs in various continents. Daniel, together with his international team, typically advises companies on the legal aspects of their multi-national services, with an increasing amount of advice on cloud issues, software as a service, privacy and data retention issues.
Daniel Preiskel has chaired and is a regular speaker at prestigious international telecoms conferences and is on the Steering Committee of the MEF Privacy in Apps Programme that has attracted a fair amount of coverage in the press.
Daniel is a founder of the International MVNOx Association and former Vice-Chair of the IBA Communications Law Group. He is a member of and provides regulatory input to the following industry associations: ISPA, ITSPA, MEF and FCS. In addition, he and his team have advised the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and some of their member companies from a cross section of industries.
Previous experience includes working as an investment banker in Deutsche Morgan Grenfell’s telecoms team and heading telecoms and technology departments at two City law firms. He has also worked in the European Commission’s Competition Directorate on anti-trust matters in the telecoms sector. In addition to his broad range of TMT sector clients, he advises companies in a range of sectors including gambling & gaming, retail, energy and sport.
He has a MA in law from Cambridge University (Jesus College), speaks seven languages and has passed the SFA investment banking exams.
Evgenija Bavink is a Senior Expert for Business Development in the Mobile Wholesale unit at Deutsche Telekom – Segment Europe. In this role, Evgenija is responsible for Deutsche Telekom´s Mobile Wholesale business in the European footprint together with the local teams. This includes developing and implementing growth opportunities with existing and potential partners.
Prior to joining the European Mobile Wholesale unit, Evgenija worked in multiple national and international Mobile Wholesale functions at Deutsche Telekom including process & product management just as strategy & business development. Evgenija holds a bachelor’s degree in business information systems and an MBA.
Graduated from ENSEA and ESSEC, Pascal is one of the pioneers of VOIP in France. He monitored various VOIP & BT projects throughout the 90’s and, in 2002, he decided to create Legos with the aim of building an ambitious and independent telephony platform. In 2014, Pascal led Legos to a new milestone: becoming a Full MVNO in France on Orange’s Network. Today, Legos has the ambition of providing Fixed and Mobile Services globally with the quality of a local operator (local rates and regulatory knowledge).
Robert Staniszewski has been active on Poland’s mobile telephony market for 21 years now.
Since 2009 he has been the Director of the Wholesale Department at Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. (the operator of Plus mobile network) and Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. (the biggest pay TV provider in Central and Eastern Europe).
Robert Staniszewski is responsible for wholesale cooperation with Polish and foreign carriers. His responsibilities include:
- acquisition of partners, development of cooperation and maintaining of relations with telecommunication operators,
- sale and purchasing of wholesale interconnect services, traffic exchange,
- sale and purchasing of international roaming services on wholesale basis,
- sale of national roaming and other services to MVNO’s,
- development of wholesale products to be offered via wholesale channels of Polkomtel/Cyfrowy Polsat,
- support for process of regulation of the wholesale telecommunication market in Poland
- wholesale settlements with partners.
Robert Staniszewski is a graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Warsaw University where he studied International Economy and completed his studies with a major in economic sciences. Subsequently he completed doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Warsaw University, obtaining a Ph.D. title in Economic Sciences. Until 2006 he worked as an Assistant Professor and lecturer at the Chair of International Economic Relations of Warsaw University’s Faculty of Economic Sciences.
He commenced with e-shelter in October 2011 and is responsible with his team for Carrier - Sales, Purchasing and Developments. Jens has an extensive amount of experience in International Sales having worked for euNetworks, Vanco, Sita S.C., Colt Telecom and Deutsche Telekom AG in Germany, and as Consultant in Madrid, Spain.
Jens holds a Telecommunication Engineering Degree which he obtained in Germany and has over 20 years’ experience working in the Telecommunication and Data Center Industry.
Ian is a telecommunication professional and has been working in the industry for 30 years. Ian’s passion is working with those who seek to develop cross technology end to end solutions based upon sound business drivers, as well as evangelising new technologies and solutions that have the potential to add value to an operator’s business. As Head of Solutions for Nokia in the UK&I our aim is to build a clear technical vision linked to Nokia’s customer’s business strategy, build senior technical relationships and aim to maximise cross sell and multi-technology opportunities for our customers and Nokia. In addition, based upon market, regulatory and technology trends we look to identify key areas of focus for new Nokia opportunities within the UK&I. Previous roles during Ian’s career have included heading technical and commercial pre-sales teams and providing senior engineering ICT consultancy services and technical project management services to a global client base. Ian is a Chartered Engineer and holds a BSc. (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from Bangor University (UCNW), a MSc in Telecommunications & Information Systems from the University of Essex and is a Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET).
Ian is responsible for acquiring new business partnerships by leveraging Three's mobile network and wholesale platform capability across multiple mobile segments. Helping businesses such as White Label Partnerships, MVNOs, and IoT Service Providers to provide connectivity services to their own customers on the network built for data.
Excellent contractual negotiation skills, an example of which, led to the successful negotiation of an IoT partnership with AT&T. A wide breadth of experience of MVNO, OTT and IoT deals, having successfully negotiated ten partnerships in six years.
From an engineering background to a telecoms expert, previous experience includes product development, sales and marketing roles which provide a unique mix of excellent technical knowledge, commercial awareness and a willingness to challenge and break barriers.

Isabelle is President and Founder of HOT TELECOM, one of the most innovative and creative telecom research and consulting companies in the industry. HOT TELECOM has been supporting operators, regulators and investors on a global basis for over 14 years, more particularly on the subjects of International and wholesale.
More recently, Isabelle has been working with many of the world's global wholesalers and service providers to help them define their transformation strategy.
