Based at Lago di Como in Italy, VSC provides strategic advisory services in M&A, Business Development & Media for the telecommunication industry. Over the last 25 years, Erik developed extensive expertise and deep domain knowledge working at major telecom companies. His international career includes senior & executive level positions. Over the years, Erik has been a regular speaker & moderator at major international telecom conferences.

Andy is Chief Operating Officer of Seaborn. He is responsible for leading all aspects of Seaborn’s global operations and engineering. Over the past three decades, Andy has developed and brought into operation numerous transoceanic and regional submarine cable systems connecting Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

Andy previously served as Head of Regional Submarine Networks at Global Marine Systems, a preeminent subsea cable installation company. Prior to Global Marine, Andy was an early member of Global Crossing’s Network Team, where he brought into service all of Global Crossing’s submarine networks, and he led engineering and implementation of network upgrades and provisioning of customer circuits on the global submarine network. He also led planning, construction, and operation of Global Crossing’s global NOC

Andy began his submarine telecom career with FLAG (FEA Submarine System), where he was responsible for the successful commissioning and bringing into service of all 15 segments of the Europe to Asia submarine system and for the centralized management of the entire system from the FNOC in Fujairah, UAE.

Most recently, Andy led the project management for a new 1,240 km submarine fiber optic cable system linking Trinidad, Guyana and Suriname.

Andy served in the Royal Air Force where he received a degree in Electronic Engineering and Aerospace Studies, and thereafter entered the telecom industry with NYNEX in the UK.

Ramiro Nobre is the Vice President of Global Strategy and Solutions for Accedian, the industry leader in providing end-to-end network performance visibility. Ramiro and his team have assisted numerous Operators around the globe to ensure they maximize the benefits and value of network health visibility via actionable insights, thereby improving the overall Customer Experience. Over the past two decades, Mr. Nobre has held leadership positions ranging from manufacturing to engineering, training and sales/business development with such industry leaders as Radio Frequency Systems, Andrew Corporation (now Commscope), Powerwave Technologies and Accedian. Mr. Nobre spent several years in the US Navy’s nuclear engineering division and also holds a BSBM degree from the University of Phoenix.

Jeremy Villalobos is the Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of GoldConnect. With more than 15 years of experience in the Telecom and Data Center industry, Jeremy has served in several key capacities for various organizations building and succeeding new business units in USA and Latin America, including construction of new top tier Data Centers, deployment of multiple cloud computing platforms and new strategic network infrastructure expansion in the region. Today, he also serves in the Board of Advisor of Stetson University in the Graduate Disruptive Leadership Program. Jeremy holds an EMBA in International Business and Operation Management from Florida Atlantic University.

Ricardo Martins is Responsible for Voice Sales, Messaging (SMS A2P and P2P) and Mobility Services (MVNO) at NOS Wholesale Business Unit.

Sophie is the Executive Chairman of 26FIVE, a global consulting firm and innovation labs specialized in brand and growth management. The firm works with F1000, VCs and PEs across offices in New York, Mumbai, and Singapore, and has been behind the reinvention of numerous tech brands, resulting in billion dollars in growth and increased brand valuation. Partners and missions include Accenture, Atos, Equinix, iBASIS, Medidata, Microsoft, PDG, PTC, Tata Communications, Vodafone, and VEON.

She is a global Ambassador for Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF) and serves on several non-profit boards. Named Top 15 CEO and Top 10 firm by PR News and PR Week, she was a 2019 Global Women in Tech nominee for Outstanding Achievement as a Disruptor. Sophie is featured on CNBC, MSNBC, BNN and published in Time Magazine, USA Today, AdWeek, PR Week and Luxury Daily, covering trends in innovation, M&A, digital disruption, and consumer behavior. She holds a BA in Economics and a Law Degree from La Sorbonne, Paris. 

David Vigar is the Director, Alliance Partnerships at Twilio. David has managed relationships in the messaging and voice space for nine years. He built carrier relations in voice for Tele2 and at iBasis-KPN during their $93.3m merger, where he also developed internal processes and reporting. David led the early development of iBasis’ SMS business.

A keen flautist and wine collector, David holds a BA in Economics with Legal Studies from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom.

Responsible for the Americas with an accumulated experience of 25+ years of connecting the world overland and undersea.  He’s worked for NEC, Huawei, Tellabs, Coriant and Xtera.  

Ricardo holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Sao Paulo State University and an MBA from FGV, both in Brazil.

Justin is responsible for daily operations as well as planning and executing MOX’s corporate strategy. Justin has extensive background in building and developing strategic alliances, acquisitions, and establishing or procuring assets that coincide with the executive vision.

Prior to MOX, he managed business development for Sidera Networks, where he was responsible for building strategic relationships that facilitated network expansion and formalized agreements that produced revenue and cost savings for the organization. Justin received his J.D. from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, B.S. from The Ohio State University, and holds a license to practice law from the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Based in Paris, France, Florence is the consummate New Business Development Professional and Relationship Broker with broad experience in the telecommunications industry. After completing her Masters Degree in International Trade (Paris II Pantheon Assas), she joined Telecom Italia (TI) and played a critical role in growing TI's market share. After a decade at TI, she founded FSE Consulting in 2009 to help companies position themselves strategically to establish and grow impactful business relationships. Florence is adept at assessing risks and benefits as companies pursue global telecom opportunities.

Mr. Laguado has more than twenty five years of experience in telecommunications and IT businesses, and is responsible for the Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineering and Commercial Operations departments of GlobeNet. He’s a former GlobeNet’s team member acting as Country Manager for Colombia and Venezuela for more than seven years.

Before joining our company, he worked as Sales Director for Millicom Group in Tigo Colombia and as Location Manager for Colombia and Ecuador in Anixter. He had also several positions during his time at Telefonica such as Sales Vicepresident at Telefonica Data and Sales Director at Telefonica Colombia. He worked in some other telecommunications companies like Diveo, Emtelco, and started his career as a Chief telecommunications technician in Occidental Oil and Gas company.

Mr. Laguado holds a Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a specialization in Business Administration from Rosario Business School and an Executive Certificate in Leadership from ESADE in Barcelona Spain.

Mr. Falzoni has over twenty years of experience in the international telecommunications industry, in marketing, sales, channel management, business development, strategy and management. Before joining GlobeNet’s team, Eduardo has held executive positions in the US and Latin America such as CEO of Latin American Nautilus, a regional broadband telecommunications provider, VP Region Americas for Telecom Italia Sparkle, a global telecommunications provider, and Director of Marketing and later Director of Strategy for Telecom Argentina, a national and international telecom operator. He has also served on the Board of Directors of several companies.

Mr. Falzoni holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) (Argentina), a post-graduate Degree in Design Engineering from the Eindhoven International Institute (the Netherlands). He also holds a Degree in Business from Universidad de San Andrés (Argentina) and has completed the Management Development Program at IAE, Universidad Austral (Argentina).

Jim Poole is Vice President of Global Business Development at Equinix, leading Evolving Edge strategies focused on 5G, private wireless, MEC, subsea cable and SATCOMs.  He has a 30+ year background spanning the IT, telecommunications and content technologies industries.  Jim joined Equinix from Roundbox, Inc., a provider of mobile broadcast software, where he led business development and sales.  Prior to Roundbox, he was Vice President and General Manager of Network Services at SAVVIS (now Lumen), responsible for business line P&L, product management, marketing and strategy.  He also held senior leadership positions at C&W Americas, dynamicsoft and UUNET.

Director Supplier Management joined Expereo in 2015 but has been loving, living and breathing Internet since 14K4 modems in 1995 and still remembers the sound. Experience from content development to hardware distribution and from gaming to managed services. Always looking for partnerships with a win-win. Likes to keep things simple. Andres Madero is the Chief Technology Officer for Latin America & Caribbean at Infinera. He is responsible for engaging with service providers in the region, providing them with a unique perspective on industry trends while demonstrating the business value of Infinera’s leading-edge portfolio of networking solutions that span long-haul, submarine, data center interconnect, and metro transport applications.

Andres has had a distinguished networking career with extensive experience and expertise in Layer 0-3 technologies and network architectures, from both a vendor and a service provider standpoint. He has over a decade of experience working closely with service providers helping them design next-generation networks across several countries in Latin America. Previously, Andres was Vice President of Engineering and Business Development at Raisecom, overseeing the company’s operations in the Americas. Prior to leading the engineering team at Raisecom, he worked at Liberty Latin America Networks across different business areas including optical transmission, network architecture, and field and operations. He serves as a Cochair for MEF and as ONF’s Cluster Lead for LATAM.

Andres holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Universidad del Norte, Colombia, and a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Phoenix, U.S.

Igor Skutsenya has 6 years of experience in the telecom industry, being a member of the LANCK team since 2017. He is involved in revenue assurance & anti-fraud projects, value-added services, management and business development sectors, and presents LANCK Telecom global anti-fraud initiatives in GSMA, CFCA, GCCM and other mobile associations & events.

In LANCK Telecom Igor works as a Business Development Manager.
