Carrier Community (CC) has successfully hosted its America 2021 GCCM on the 7th and 8th December, 2021 at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove in Miami.
To provide more comfort and secure environment for the members to network, CC team has provided a few health and safety measures due to the current pandemic such as: face masks, rapid test booth, spacious environment with sufficient distancing, temperature checking booth, hygienic and disinfection booth, signages with reminding guest to frequently wash their hands and other measures.
This event brought together more than 200 Global Telecom Club members, expert decision-makers from 100+ top-tier operators and delegates from 30+ countries. They had all the unique opportunity to meet and network. America 2021 GCCM welcomed once again Carrier Community sector-wide members representing: Data, SMS, Voice, Mobile, OTT, VAS, Cable, Satellite, Data Centres and other related sectors.
During the event, Submarine, Digital Cloud, Messaging, Dataceneter, ISP executive panel discussion sessions helped CC members to gain knowledge and address current industry challenges and come up with comprehensive solutions to today’s rapidly-evolving telecom environment.

Most recently, Andy led the project management for a new 1,240 km submarine fiber optic cable system linking Trinidad, Guyana and Suriname.
Andy served in the Royal Air Force where he received a degree in Electronic Engineering and Aerospace Studies, and thereafter entered the telecom industry with NYNEX in the UK.
Ramiro Nobre is the Vice President of Global Strategy and Solutions for Accedian, the industry leader in providing end-to-end network performance visibility. Ramiro and his team have assisted numerous Operators around the globe to ensure they maximize the benefits and value of network health visibility via actionable insights, thereby improving the overall Customer Experience. Over the past two decades, Mr. Nobre has held leadership positions ranging from manufacturing to engineering, training and sales/business development with such industry leaders as Radio Frequency Systems, Andrew Corporation (now Commscope), Powerwave Technologies and Accedian. Mr. Nobre spent several years in the US Navy’s nuclear engineering division and also holds a BSBM degree from the University of Phoenix.

David Vigar is the Director, Alliance Partnerships at Twilio. David has managed relationships in the messaging and voice space for nine years. He built carrier relations in voice for Tele2 and at iBasis-KPN during their $93.3m merger, where he also developed internal processes and reporting. David led the early development of iBasis’ SMS business.
A keen flautist and wine collector, David holds a BA in Economics with Legal Studies from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom.

Mr. Laguado has more than twenty five years of experience in telecommunications and IT businesses, and is responsible for the Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineering and Commercial Operations departments of GlobeNet. He’s a former GlobeNet’s team member acting as Country Manager for Colombia and Venezuela for more than seven years.
Before joining our company, he worked as Sales Director for Millicom Group in Tigo Colombia and as Location Manager for Colombia and Ecuador in Anixter. Before joining GlobeNet’s team, Eduardo has held executive positions in the US and Latin America such as CEO of Latin American Nautilus, a regional broadband telecommunications provider, VP Region Americas for Telecom Italia Sparkle, a global telecommunications provider, and Director of Marketing and later Director of Strategy for Telecom Argentina, a national and international telecom operator. Passengers are not allowed to enter if in the past 14 days they have been in Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe.
If you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you will NOT be allowed to board a flight to the United States, unless you meet the criteria for an exception under the Proclamation and CDC’s Order.
Categories of noncitizen nonimmigrants that meet the criteria for an exception under the Proclamation and CDC’s Order include:
