Carrier Community (CC) looks forward to hosting Europe 2021 GCCM from 24 – 25 June, 2021 at the ETC Venues – 155 Bishopsgate in central London.
To provide more comfort and secure environment for the members to network, CC team has taken a few health and safety measures due to the current pandemic such as: face masks, rapid test booth, spacious environment with sufficient distancing, temperature checking booth, hygienic and disinfection booth, signages with reminding guest to frequently wash their hands and other measures.
The two-day event includes knowledge-sharing panel sessions taken place on site and broadcasted via CC-Webinar.live platform and evening networking receptions to: meet peers, explore new business opportunities, discuss latest market trends, showcase latest products and solutions, and broker deals. Members will also have access to an online meeting portal to schedule individual meetings with attendees.
Europe 2021 GCCM welcomes members and Telco Ecosystem partners from all sectors, such as: Data, Voice, SMS Messaging, Mobile, OTT/ Content Providers, VAS, Enterprise, Satellite, ISP, Data Centres and other related areas. Adam has over 20 years’ experience in the telecoms industry, having held a number of roles at Verizon, AAPT and Pacnet prior to joining Telstra. He is a dual national of the United Kingdom and Australia, a country where he spent a decade building his career.

Anne Morel is Senior Vice President Global Carrier Sales for Orange International Carriers, one of the world's leading players in its field delivering cutting edge wholesale solutions to over 1,000 mobile operators, international carriers, ISPs and content providers worldwide.
In this role, Anne is responsible for overseeing the global sales strategy and business development of wholesale services for Voice, Data, Mobile and Security. Since joining the International Wholesale Division at Orange, Anne has actively contributed to its strategy, growth and transformation into one of the industry world leaders. Anne has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility within the International Carriers management team including Head of European Carrier Sales, and since 2012, Senior Vice President of Global Carrier Sales. In her most current position, she oversaw the implementation of a new Global Sales organization to assemble the regional Sales teams across voice, data and mobile products.

Alper Tunga Burak is a Chief Executive Officer of Odine Solutions. He takes an active role in building the strategy for developing new markets, new verticals and diversification of group business lines, as well as strategic marketing with his 19 years of industry experience. He joined Odine Solutions in 2006 at start up bringing years of telecommunications experience in product development, business development, sales engineering, marketing and strategic planning paving the way for Odine Solutions to its current market stance with 170 carrier/operator customers in 36 different countries. Giuseppe Valentino leads in Sparkle the Backbone & Infrastructure Solutions - Product Management team. He joined the company in 2003 and he has held senior positions within sales, product management and innovation organizations.
From 1996 to 2002 he worked for GTS/Ebone, a pioneer in IP and cross-border fiber backbones development in Europe, with business development as well as sales responsibilities.
He started his carrier in 1991 at ICT manufacturer Italtel as Project Engineer and worked at Bell Labs in Denver, Colorado, between 1994 and 1995 as coordinator of a joint development program between Italtel and AT&T (now Nokia).
He holds a master degree in Management and Production Engineering from Politecnico di Milano University.
Maurizio Gemito has more than 22 years’ experience in Telco Industry, with many roles in Consumer, Business and Wholesale segments.

Jens Leuchters is the managing director at NewTelco GmbH, where Jens is responsible for sales as well as product development. Jens develops the strategy for the SME market entry, as well as the digitization of internal business processes.
Jens has been in ICT since 1993 and started his career in internal IT at BT. Since 2003 he has been responsible for international management functions, including Interoute (GTT) and NTT.
As Regional Manager starting from 2003, Jens built the carrier business at Interoute. Next to this he was driving the enterprise GTM as well as the integration & migration of the acquired hosting provider PSI-Net in the DACH region. In 2009 he took over the management of the Japanese NTT Communication for CEE as Region General Manager. In 2016, Jens took over the SVP Network Services position in NTT Europe, where he pushed ahead with the transformation of the corporate network to SDWAN solutions and transferred the European Network BU into a global network factory.
Jens lives in the area around Frankfurt and is a passionate scuba diver and classic car fan.
Joanna is a global telecoms expert with close to a decade worth of experience in mobile messaging market. Since starting in this field, Joanna has performed numerous commercial and operational roles in the industry including launching the global A2P SMS hub for HGC Global Communications Limited as a part of core leadership team.
Currently, Joanna heads up Global Market Intelligence unit at HAUD with a strong focus on working with Mobile Operators to help them stay in control of their networks, increase A2P revenues and build great customer experience.
Naaz is responsible for all of Seaborn’s global industry conferences and events. Naaz’s industry experience, gained over 20 years, in operational and marketing roles and her relationships within the market have enabled Seaborn to become a highly recognizable presence in the subsea marketing events space.
Naaz worked as an Events Coordinator in Bermuda for companies such as the Gillette Golf Tour Challenge, Flag Telecom and others creating industry focused events. She was Inventory Manager for the Pan-European Network of Global Crossing, subsequently moving to the Global Network at GC in marketing event initiatives. Naaz was a co-founder of Bax Consulting successfully building out the SGSS system between Trinidad, Guyana and Suriname.
Naaz is a founding member of ‘The Women in Subsea’ movement and is working on Seaborn’s initiative to encourage a younger, more diverse workforce to consider the subsea industry for their future.
Alex Nourouzi is leading the RCS programme at Orange Group, which has launched RCS P2P services in 21 markets and has rolled out RCS A2P bots across than 10 markets to date. He has focused on launching new innovative communications services over the last 15 years, including playing an instrumental role in the launch of the world’s first HD voice service by Orange Moldova. Prior to Orange Group, Alex founded and sold a switched reseller start-up. He has also worked at Orange France, LogicaCMG France and Ovum.
Andy is Chief Operating Officer of Seaborn. He is responsible for leading all aspects of Seaborn’s global operations and engineering. Over the past three decades, Andy has developed and brought into operation numerous transoceanic and regional submarine cable systems connecting Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
Andy previously served as Head of Regional Submarine Networks at Global Marine Systems, a preeminent subsea cable installation company. Prior to Global Marine, Andy was an early member of Global Crossing’s Network Team, where he brought into service all of Global Crossing’s submarine networks, and he led engineering and implementation of network upgrades and provisioning of customer circuits on the global submarine network. He also led planning, construction, and operation of Global Crossing’s global NOC
Andy began his submarine telecom career with FLAG (FEA Submarine System), where he was responsible for the successful commissioning and bringing into service of all 15 segments of the Europe to Asia submarine system and for the centralized management of the entire system from the FNOC in Fujairah, UAE.
Most recently, Andy led the project management for a new 1,240 km submarine fiber optic cable system linking Trinidad, Guyana and Suriname.
Andy served in the Royal Air Force where he received a degree in Electronic Engineering and Aerospace Studies, and thereafter entered the telecom industry with NYNEX in the UK.
Robert is the Head of Messaging at BT and leads the team responsible for the strategy, development and sale of BT’s Smart Messaging products into brands. The team also manages EE’s (owned by BT) wholesale partner relationships and A2P SMS, MMS and RCS products. Their current focus is on enhancing their portfolio to provide a Richer Media proposition to the Wholesale and Enterprise market . Robert previously worked at Orange and has a passion for technology and security.
Hasan Zainal is the Head of International Capacity at Batelco, the leading digital solutions provider in Bahrain, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing
Hasan joined Batelco in 2007 and led the product management and development of various services and segments.
He led multiple projects to expand Batelco’s presence in Europe and the Middle East, also the launch of Batelco’s first owned cable system (BGN).
Hasan currently leads the development and operations of Batelco’s international assets, capacities and new cable systems. Driven by the passion to reshape the regions and making Bahrain as the leading digital hub.
Federico Homberg leads Business Development & Innovation at Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier. In this role he is responsible for developing and implementing growth opportunities in International Wholesale but also for assessing the potential of new technologies around 5G SA, SD-X, XaaS or delivering new wholesale products via exposing APIs.
Prior to joining International Mobile Wholesale, Federico worked in multiple functions at Deutsche Telecom including International Mobile Wholesale, Group Business Development and Group Strategy. Before joining Deutsche Telekom, Federico worked as management consultant. Federico holds an MBA from the University of Mannheim.
Steffen Oefner is the heading the Mobile Wholesale Business Models team at Deutsche Telekom – Segment Europe. In this role, Steffen is responsible for Deutsche Telekom´s Mobile Wholesale business in the European footprint together with the local teams. This includes developing and implementing growth opportunities with existing and potential partners.
Prior to joining Mobile Wholesale, Steffen worked in multiple international functions at Deutsche Telekom. Before Deutsche Telekom, Steffen worked as a management consultant, specializing in business strategy, product and pricing related projects for numerous mobile and fixed-line operator across Europe. Steffen holds a Master in Economics from Philipps-University of Marburg.

Started as a Business Development Manager 17 years ago, Alexey became CEO of LANCK Telecom in 2008.
